Deniz Duru Aydin

Deniz is a Policy Fellow at Access Now, where she focuses on Internet governance, transparency reporting, and digital rights in Turkey and beyond.

She is a member of the Youth Coalition on Internet Governance, and Freedom Online Coalition’s working group on Digital Development and Openness.

Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, she is currently finishing her MSc degree in the Social Science of the Internet at the University of Oxford, where she focuses on global filtering practices and internet shutdowns as her thesis topic. Previously, she studied Politics and European & Mediterranean Studies at New York University.
